Forlan agent dismisses transfer talk
The agent of Atletico Madrid goal-machine Diego Forlan has insisted he is unaware of any offers for the striker.
The Uruguayan front-man netted just 10 league goals in 63 appearances in a frustrating two-and-a-half years with Manchester United from 2002-04.
However, since leaving Old Trafford the 30-year-old has re-established himself as one of the most lethal forwards in la Liga, netting 54 league goals in 104 outings for Villarreal and a further 48 in 69 for present club Atletico Madrid.
His 32 league goals for the rojiblancos in 2008/09 earned him both the Pichichi trophy as top-scorer in la Liga, as well as the Golden Shoe for being the deadliest marksman in Europe - trophies he also picked up as a Villarreal player.
And as a result, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Barcelona are just some of the clubs being linked with a move for the talisman.
However, his agent Daniel Bolotnicoff is adament that no approach has been made regarding a transfer, despite being recently quoted as saying that Forlan "is crazy for moving to Barcelona."
"There is no offer from Barcelona and I have not had any contact with them until now," he told Com Radio.
"Diego has not had any offers from anyone, he has a contract and the player is very happy.

"There is nothing from Real Madrid either. It's all rumours from the newspapers. I don't know if someone has made an offer to the club, but on behalf of the player we haven't spoken to anyone.
"Unless the situation changes a lot and it is convenient for everyone his idea is not to change."
