Luis Enrique has decided to rest Gerard Pique for Barcelona's LaLiga match versus Las Palmas, with Sergi Roberto and Denis Suarez also out.

Gerard Pique has been left out of Barcelona's squad to face Las Palmas in LaLiga on Saturday, with Luis Enrique opting to rest the centre-back.

The head coach has a fully fit squad to choose from but has opted to leave Pique, full-back Sergi Roberto and midfielder Denis Suarez out of his 18-man party.

The famously outspoken Pique has placed himself at the centre of controversy over recent weeks, having questioned decisions made by officials during Barca's first-leg loss at Bilbao in the round of 16 and last weekend's 1-1 draw at Villarreal.
