A Craig Fagan diving header restored Hull's lead after 69 minutes only for West Brom to level again with a Chris Brunt penalty four minutes later.

Stoke collected their first win in 10 league matches despite playing more than half the game with 10 men after Rory Delap was sent off for kicking Shaun Wright-Phillips in the 37th minute.
James Beattie scored an excellent header in first-half injury time and Stoke defended strongly in the second period as the visitors looked desperately short of invention and hardly managed a shot on target.
