Arsenal are weighing up a summer move for Wolfsburg goal-machine Edin Dzeko, according to reports in the German media.
Arsene Wenger's side have endured another frustrating season at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners now having gone four campaigns without picking up a trophy since their 2005 FA Cup triumph at the Millennium Stadium.
And with Togolese front-man Emmanuel Adebayor being linked with a summer move to either AC Milan or Chelsea, the North London outfit are believed to be targeting the Bosnian hot-shot.
The former FK Teplice forward has hit 25 goals in 28 league outings in 2008/09 to fire Wolfsburg to the brink of a first ever Bundesliga crown.
Earlier this season, Arsenal's first-team coach Boro Primorac confirmed the club were monitoring the progress of the 23-year-old, who is now sure to be interesting Wenger following his devastating domestic form. “We [will] keep our eyes on him," Primorac said in Kicker earlier in the campaign.
"He is a striker able to make it in the Premier League."
