Richard has been contributing to FourFourTwo since 2022 and racked up nearly 20 years’ experience writing for the likes of Sports Illustrated, The Football Association, MARCA, The National, Sunday Mirror and OneFootball. The tallest journalist in any press box, he has covered World Cup and Champions League finals but is mostly found on the always low-key beats at Liverpool and Everton and has authored books on both. He is a card-carrying Barcelona supporter which continues to go down well with his relatives in the Basque region.
