Liverpool misfit's future transformed by Arne Slot exit
Arne Slot's Liverpool exit has changed one player's fortunes
Liverpool have embarked on their second manager change in three summers.
Arne Slot initially replaced Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool head coach in May 2024 and memorably won them the Premier League during his first season at the helm.
However, things unravelled very quickly for the Dutchman as the Anfield club's title defence disintegrated within months and led to him being unceremoniously sacked.

Liverpool winger's future changed by Arne Slot sacking
It is no secret that Slot had something of a fractious relationship with several players in the Reds' dressing room and was notably at loggerheads with Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt international did not hold back in his public criticisms of the former Feyenoord boss after agreeing to end his nine-year stay on Merseyside last season.
Federico Chiesa was another who fell out of favour under Slot and failed to start a single Premier League fixture last season as his former manager spectacularly faltered.
The Italy winger even appeared in the frame for a return to Serie A with former club Juventus reportedly prepared to consider a move during the January transfer window.

Although a deal failed to materialise, Chiesa continues to attract interest from his homeland with Champions League newcomers Como ready to rival the Bianconeri.
However the 28-year-old could be set to hold out for a previously unlikely stay with Liverpool despite touting a move away in the search for regular first-team football.
"If I don't find consistency in the Premier League, I'll have to look elsewhere," Chiesa recently told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I barely played in my first year at Liverpool, and in the last one, very little.
"I'll go on a training camp in the US, then I'll talk to the club and the new manager, Iraola, and we'll see."
According to TuttoJuve via Sport Witness, Chesa is now prepared to fight for his future with Slot's abrupt departure at the end of May credited with swaying his decision.
