Cisse keen on Spurs switch

However, the Wearsiders have revealed they will not be making the move permanent during the close season, while Cisse's parent club are willing to listen to offers for the 27-year-old.

And Cisse, who has scored nine times in 37 outings for France, says he would welcome an approach from Spurs for his services - the club who he scored debut goals for both Liverpool and Sunderland against.

"It is a really good team and a really good stadium and good atmosphere," he told Sky Sports News.

"But at the moment it is only talk. When I have more news, I'll let you know.

"I have heard a lot of good things about him [Harry Redknapp]. It would be good.

"The only choice I have now is Marseille. So at the moment I am a Marseille player. I hope that I am going to find a club in England."
