Serbian starlet Nemanja Matic is believed to be the target of seven English sides. The 20-year-old midfielder - who has already made two appearances for the senior national team - has made 66 league appearances for MFK Kosice, netting four times, since arriving from Kolubara Lazarevac in 2007.
Matic was set to star at this month's U21 European Championships in Sweden, only for a suspected broken foot sustained in Serbia's opener against Italy to have seemingly ended his tournament prematurely.
However, the injury has not stopped reports linking the youngster with a string of English sides - including Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Fulham.
And Kosice's head of Football Development, Allen Bula, has confirmed that five English clubs have expressed an interest in the starlet.
"MFK Kosice have received offers from CSKA Moscow, Genoa and Udinese," he told skysports.com.
"There are also five Premiership clubs which have contacted us and I will have meetings with them this week in Sweden.
"We have agreed with Matic that although we do not want to lose him, we will agree a transfer soon before we play in the UEFA Europa League so he is not cup-tied.
"Like I said no offer has been accepted yet."comments
