France vs Senegal could just be a bit of a corker.

After all, we've got two genuinely star-studded attacks going at it, history between the two sides, and both nations have a point to prove after high-profile tournament experiences.

The game is set to kick off at 3pm local time (8pm UK time) at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with the BBC picking up the broadcast rights for this one.

Coverage is set to start on BBC One and iPlayer at 7:30pm.

Gabby Logan will be in front of the BBC's giant new LED screen in Salford to act as the anchor for the game.

The experienced presenter will be joined by three former Premier League stars.

Manchester United's all-time leading goalscorer Wayne Rooney has been a regular throughout the tournament, and he will offer his insights once again.

Rooney played in three World Cups for the Three Lions, and was the nation's all-time scorer before Harry Kane broke his record.

France's all-time leading goalscorer, meanwhile, Olivier Giroud will be alongside him in one of the great strike partnerships that never was (they could have called it Girooney… shame).

The former Arsenal and Chelsea man was among the 25-man squad who finished second in Qatar four years ago – and one of his colleagues from that tournament, Kylian Mbappe, has the opportunity to draw level with him on all-time goals for France if he nets tonight.

Giroud will have a former team-mate alongside him tonight, too. He didn't quite cross paths with Gael Clichy at Arsenal, with the left-back having already moved to Manchester City by the time Giroud arrived at the Emirates Stadium.

But the left-back did earn 8 of his 20 caps for France alongside Giroud, most notably at Euro 2012.
