Agent: No Chelsea move for Pastore
Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore will, contrary to reports, not be moving to Chelsea, according to the player's agent.
The 20-year-old Argentinian joined the Serie A side last summer despite speculation linking him with a switch to Manchester United, Porto, AC Milan, and the Blues.
And the youngster has continued to impress since his transfer to Italy, with Pastore earning international honours with Argentina under Diego Maradona – scoring on his debut in an exhibition match against Catalonia at the Camp Nou.
Chelsea scouts are expected to travel to Italy on Wednesday as Palermo face Sampdoria – with their eyes also on in-form striker Giampaolo Pazzini.
But although Pastore has previously confessed that it would be a dream to play for the Stamford Bridge outfit, his representitive Marcelo Simonian has insisted that the talented attacking midfielder will be staying put at the Rosaneri.
"Javier will remain at Palermo," he said
"We have never spoken to Chelsea, and are not in contact with any other club. He is doing well at Palermo."
