Agent: Premier League clubs keen on Cetin
Galatasaray defender Servet Cetin - linked with moves to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur - is being monitored by clubs in England and France, according to the player's agent.
The imposing 28-year-old centre-back has spent his entire career in his homeland, plying his trade for five other clubs before joining the Ali Sami Yen Stadium side in 2007, for whom he has made 61 league appearances.
The 6ft 4in stopper - whose nicknames range from 'Bionic Cetin' to 'Terminator Cetin' - has won 42 caps for his country, helping Turkey reach the semi-finals of Euro 2008.
As a result, Premier League duo Arsenal and Spurs are thought to be considering swoops for the powerful defender to help add some steel to their respective line-ups.
And the player's agent has revealed that Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in the stopper's services, but would need to fork out a minimum of £10 million to prise him away from the country of his birth.
"There has been no concrete contact from the clubs in question. And neither of those clubs have contacted Galatasaray directly, only a French club has enquiried about Cetin," Mithat Halis told Sport.co.uk.
"However, top Premier League clubs are watching the player. And who knows? In January, he could move, but only for the right price. Which is at least £10 million because he is a top player. I can say no more."
