Ligue 1 Previews: Blanc bitter over Gourcuff action
PARIS - Brief news from Ligue 1 ahead of this weekend's matches.
Girondins Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc said he was unhappy that playmaker Yoann Gourcuff played the full 90 minutes for France against Argentina on Wednesday.
"I thought I had understood Yoann would be substituted by (Samir) Nasri at halftime," Blanc told French sports daily L'Equipe on Friday.
"I was hoping Yoann would be rested a bit. I had discussed this with the France staff. If we have him play all the time, we are going to break him."
Second-placed Bordeaux take on Grenoble on Saturday.
Paris St Germain midfielder Jeremy Clement is doubtful for his side's game against St Etienne on Saturday after fracturing a bone in his hand during training, the club said on their website.
Olympique Marseille midfielder Karim Ziani should be fit for Sunday's trip to Monaco following a groin injury, coach Eric Gerets said on the club's website.
Olympique Lyon midfielder Ederson said the Ligue 1 leaders would not to take anything for granted when they host bottom club Le Havre on Sunday.

"Everything can happen. I remember we won 1-0 in our first match against them this season but it was not easy. And they just beat Stade Rennes," the Brazilian told his club's website.
Lille could have to cope with the absence of midfielders Mathieu Debuchy, Marko Maric and Ludovic Obraniak because of injuries for Saturday's trip to AJ Auxerre, the club said on their website.
Debuchy has an ankle injury, Maric has pain in his heel and Obraniak is "ill", the club said.
Ligue 1 top scorer Andre-Pierre Gignac, who has netted 14 goals this season, said he was willing to stay at Toulouse next season.
"I feel really, I mean really well here," he said.
"I need to play and here I have play time. So why leave?," he told L'Equipe.
