Roma could look to sell Tammy Abraham after an alarming slump in form over recent months.

According to Calciomercato, Jose Mourinho is concerned at Abraham’s run of poor performances and could turn to Andrea Belotti or Ola Solbakken as his main striker instead.

Doubts have begun to resurface about the 25-year-old’s resilience and consistency having found the net just once in his last nine league appearances.

He even helped them become the first winners of the Europa Conference League, beating Feyenoord 1-0 in the final thanks to Nicolo Zaniolo’s clever finish from close range.

Moving to the Stadio Olimpico last summer seemed to have revitalised Abraham’s career after falling out of favour at Chelsea.

Signed for £34million on a five-year contract, Mourinho made it clear that he had faith in Abraham’s ability to adapt to the demands of Serie A and believed he could fire the team to success.

That seemed to be the case until a promising debut season gave way to disappointment, costing Abraham a place in England’s World Cup squad.
