Chelsea team news vs Norwich: N'Golo Kante misses out and Pedro injured in warm-up

N’Golo Kante misses Chelsea’s Premier League trip to Norwich on Saturday with an ankle sprain.

Pedro was initially named in the visitors' starting XI but suffered an injury in the warm-up and has been replaced by Ross Barkley.

Antonio Rudiger is not yet ready to feature as he closes in on a return after long-term knee trouble, but he could be back for the Stamford Bridge visit of Sheffield United on August 31.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke has named the same starting XI that beat Newcastle 3-1 last time out.

Onel Hernandez (knee) faces three months out after undergoing surgery. and Christoph Zimmerman (knee) and Josip Drmic (hamstring) are both still missing.

Chelsea are looking for their first win under Frank Lampard, having collected just one point from a possible six so far this season.

Norwich XI: Krul, Aarons, Hanley, Godfrey, Lewis, Trybull, Leitner, Buendia, Stiepermann, Cantwell, Pukki.
