Frank Lampard's side will be looking to end a run of three consecutive defeats when Palace come to town on Saturday. Everton had shown signs that they might have turned a corner after going six games unbeaten, but losses to Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle have left them looking over their shoulders at the bottom three once more.
Scoring goals remains Everton's biggest problem. They drew blanks against both Spurs and Newcastle, and have found the back of the net just eight times in their 11 matches so far this season. Dominic Calvert-Lewin was fit enough to start at St James' Park in midweek, but it will no doubt take him a while to get up to speed.
For the third time already this term, Palace conceded the first goal in a home game but fought back to triumph on Tuesday. Ebere Eze and Wilfried Zaha were on target against Wolves, with Patrick Vieira's side once again growing stronger as the game wore on.
Palace had a tough start to the season in terms of fixtures, facing four members of the big six in their first seven matches, but they have taken advantage of a kinder schedule in recent weeks by picking up seven points from the last nine available. They will now be looking for their first win at Goodison in more than eight years.
Everton are without Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend, Nathan Patterson and Yerry Mina and Lampard has named the same XI that started the match against Newcastle last time out.
Palace are unable to call upon the services of Nathan Ferguson, James McArthur, Nathaniel Clyne, Chris Richards, Jack Butland and Will Hughes. Jordan Ayew returns to the side oin midfield, with Michael Olise set to operate in a more advanced role.

VPN guide
Use a VPN to watch Premier League football from outside your country
If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.
There are plenty of good-value options out there, and FourFourTwo currently recommends:
ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
