It’s here already... the dreaded international break. We may only be a month into the new season, but this week marks the first without any fixtures in the Premier League schedule. Say goodbye to Arsenal vs Tottenham; say hello to... *checks*... San Marino vs Belgium!
At least Gareth Southgate's England team are enjoyable to watch, mind, and their fixtures against Bulgaria and Kosovo should provide fans with some tonic from their footballing withdrawal symptoms.
Much of the national team’s recent strength is drawn from the fine crop of young Englishmen currently playing in the Premier League, although Jadon Sancho and Kieran Trippier are currently repping the Three Lions abroad with Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid respectively.
Overall, 71 eligible Englishmen have appeared in each of their clubs’ opening four fixtures. Naming them all within the time limit will be some challenge, but let us know how you get on by sending a screenshot to @FourFourTwo, before passing it on to a friend in danger of suffering from separation anxiety over the next week.
