Mutu returns for Romania qualifiers

BUCHAREST - Romanian striker Adrian Mutu returned to the national team after an injury absence for the World Cup Group Seven qualifiers away to Serbia on October 10 and home to Faroe Islands four days later.

Fiorentina striker Mutu missed the matches against France and Austria after sustaining a thigh injury.
Romania are fifth in Group Seven with 9 points from eight games after a disappointing campaign, with no chance to qualify.
