Rangers v Celtic live stream, Sky Sports, Saturday 2 January, 12.30pm GMT

Rangers can take a giant step closer to the Scottish Premiership title by beating arch-rivals Celtic on Saturday.

Steven Gerrard’s side remain unbeaten in the top flight this term, and a 2-0 triumph over St Mirren on Wednesday extended their winning run in the division to 13 consecutive matches. Rangers have barely put a foot wrong so far, having drawn only two of their 21 games to date. They have been excellent at both ends of the field, conceding just five goals and scoring 56 - an average of 2.66 per fixture. Victory at Ibrox would surely end the defending champions’ hopes of winning the league for the 10th season in a row.

Neil Lennon’s side head into this must-win fixture 16 points adrift of top spot, although they do have three games in hand. The Northern Irishman was under heavy pressure a few weeks back, but recent results have given him a little more breathing space. Indeed, Celtic have now won each of their last four Premiership fixtures without conceding a goal, with Dundee United their latest victims on Wednesday night. Expect the scrutiny of Lennon to return if Rangers triumph at Ibrox on Saturday, though.

Rangers will have to make do without Scott Arfield and Nikola Katic, although both players are closing in on a return to fitness. Alfredo Morelos will hope to find the back of the net again after ending his three-month domestic goal drought in the win over St Mirren last time out.

Celtic hope to welcome James Forrest back into the fold, although he will need to be assessed following a spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury. Christopher Jullien could miss out after colliding with the post in the victory over Dundee United, with Lennon admitting that the Frenchman was “in a lot of pain”.

Kick-off is at 12.30pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Dundee United v Rangers live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Bukayo Saka assist. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
