Australian midfielder Josh Brillante has signed a deal with Italian Serie B outfit Calcio Como.
Brillante, 22, began the season on loan to Empoli but will be loaned out to Como in the country's north.
Como were promoted to the Serie B last season after finishing fourth in the Lega Pro and winning a play-off against second-placed Bassano Virtus.
Brillante played just four minutes of official football for Empoli after joining in January, having played a combined 39 minutes for Fiorentina against Roma and Inter Milan respectively.

The midfielder was on the bench for Empoli's first two games of this season but has been in search of regular first-team football.
Aurelio Vidmar recently called up Brillante for Olyroos squad for two matches against Turkey and FYR Macedonia in early September.
Como begin their league season next Sunday when they travel to take on Perugia, with Brillante in the mix to make his debut.comments
