Premier League? Don’t insult with FFT with such thin footballing gruel. We live for drama, and nowhere* does it better than the Championship play-offs; the incredible highs and the crushing, crushing, no-seriously-this-is-crushing-I-really-thought-we-were-going-up lows.
Although the Football League play-offs were only introduced in the 1980s, they have now firmly established themselves as part of the end-of-season furniture.
So we’ve put together every team to have competed in the Championship (née First Division) play-offs since the turn of the century.
Although there’s a daunting 80 places to fill, a regular rota at the top of the league means there are in fact only 34 teams to have taken part since 2000.
We’re giving you seven minutes to get them all. Once you’re done, let us know how you got on at @FourFourTwo with a screenshot (no spoilers!) and challenge some friends to see if they can do any better.
* Except the Champions League, apparently.
