Victory sign Bozanic to three-year marquee deal

Reigning A-League champions Melbourne Victory have signed Socceroo Oliver Bozanic to fill the marquee spot left by fellow international Mark Milligan.

Bozanic will join the club on a three-year deal, according to reports.

The midfielder has spent the past two seasons with Swiss Super League side Luzern.

Bozanic made 56 appearances, scoring eight goals and setting up two, during his time in Switzerland. He was named Swiss Super League player of the month in August 2013.

Bozanic signed for Luzern from the Central Coast Mariners, where he spent three seasons and racked up more 70 games.

The 26-year old, who has played for the Young Socceroos, Olyroos and the senior national team, won a premiership and a grand final during his time with the Mariners.

Bozanic can play in a number of different midfield roles and is a strong signing for Victory. A Parramatta Eagles and Blacktown City junior, he is the son of former Socceroo Vic Bozanic.
