Vidosic confident of facing Reds

Western Sydney Wanderers playmaker Dario Vidosic is confident his hamstring injury sustained last weekend won’t stop him from playing this weekend.

Vidosic sat on the bench at the start of the game against the Newcastle on Sunday night and is ready to be back in the starting 11 against United.

“It’s all very good, it was a grade 1 and thankfully I was able to recover pretty quickly from it," he said

“Got through all the training sessions alright, looking forward to this week against Adelaide United.”

The former Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar forward said the Wanderers need to continue to be more cut-throat on Saturday night if they are going to get a good result.

“I think a lot more of what we’ve done in the last two games against them, the last two performances," he said.

“We’ve played very well, we need to be that little more ruthless.”

Vidosic said that the Wanderers can win their last four games to clinch the minor premiership for the first time since their inception back in 2012/2013.

“I think it’s both, it’s hard not to have it on the mind, you got to take each game as it come," he said.

“We’ve had our mentality whether it’s the first game or the last game, if we win the last four games we will be premiers.

"We are going out for the win, and that’s how we play our football.”
