Wanderers confirm Adeleke departure

Western Sydney Wanderers and defender Seyi Adeleke have parted ways by mutual consent with the termination of the player’s contract effective immediately.

The Nigerian defender signed for Wanderers in August 2014 and made six appearances in the Hyundai A-League and FIFA Club World Cup.

Adeleke was one of four Wanderers players allegedly isolated at training according to a Fairfax report.

The other players, Daniel Mullen, Vitor Saba and Kwabeni Appiah, have all found new homes in Newcastle, Crotone and Wellington Phoenix respectively.
