Spurs have a fight on their hands to finish in the top four this season, so Greg Lea has picked out some players who could help get them over the line

It's been a strange first half of the season for Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino's side arguably produced the performance of the campaign against Manchester City and were the last Premier League team to be beaten, yet they've also been a little flat and underwhelming domestically, as well as crashing out of the Champions League before the knockout rounds.

Increased depth is needed in January, then, with Pochettino desperate for another top-four finish. But who should the Argentine go for?
