As the popularity of women's football has grown, so have the crowds – and we've seen a number of record-breaking attendances over recent years.

Suppression of women's football – including the sport being banned in England for 50 years – means that getting crowds out hasn't always been easy, and the archival of achievements isn't always as easy to come across.
