Former Perth Glory midfielder Rostyn Griffiths was in action overnight for Birmingham City after going on trial with the English Championship club.
Griffiths, 27, opted to leave Perth at the end of the 2014-15 season where the club’s salary cap scandal saw them expelled from the A-League finals.
The Australian midfielder played the second half of Birmingham’s 3-0 friendly win over Nuneaton.

Griffiths, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent and previously spent time with Blackburn Rovers, is understood to also be wanted by Ipswich Town and Millwall.
Birmingham finished 10th in the Championship last term and are managed by former player Gary Rowett.comments
