Degenek scores maiden 2. Bundesliga goal

Australian midfielder Milos Degenek scored his first ever 2. Bundesliga goal on Saturday in a 1-1 draw between 1860 Munich and FC Kaiserslautern. 

Degenek, 21, joined Munich from Stuttgart II in the off-season and has played 90 minutes in each of the club's first seven league fixtures in 2015-16. 

The defensive midfielder scored after 15 minutes against Kaiserslautern on Saturday but his side could only manage a 1-1 draw after Ruben Jenssen equalised for the away side on the hour mark.

1860 were also playing in a special Oktoberfest kit to celebrate the world famous Munich beer festival.

Degenek was recently called-up in the Olyroos friendlies against Turkey and Macedonia after having also played for the Serbian U19 side two years ago.

1860 are currently in the relegation zone after seven rounds with three draws and four losses. Their next test see's them travel to face SV Sandhausen.
