Rogic returns to training after setback

Celtic have confirmed Tom Rogic is back in training after suffering a minor injury setback a fortnight ago.

Rogic was substituted after 32 minutes while playing for Celtic’s Development Side against St Johnstone on Monday 6 April.

The match was only Rogic’s second game back after returning from a long-term groin injury.

The news of Rogic’s return to training is a boost for the Australian who hadn’t played for almost 12 months prior to his return.

Rogic has missed the Development Side’s past three games and is likely to be eased back into action given the recent setback.

Celtic are eight points clear in the Premier League with five games to play, meaning manager Ronny Deila may experiment late in the season once the title is clinched.
