With Celtic in Scottish Cup action this weekend, Rangers have the chance to move nine points clear at the top of the Premiership with victory over Kilmarnock.

The Gers are desperate to prevent Celtic winning a 10th title in a row this term, and the early signs suggest Steven Gerrard’s side are capable of mounting a sustained challenge for the championship. Their 12 games to date have produced 10 wins and two draws, and a 2-0 triumph at Parkhead a fortnight ago showed that Celtic have plenty to fear.

Gerrard will not be getting carried away just yet, particularly as the reigning champions will only be three points behind Rangers if they win their game in hand. Even so, they have been hugely impressive in the opening three months of the campaign, scoring 28 goals and conceding only three in their dozen contests.

Kilmarnock have had a decent start themselves, taking 14 points from the 33 on offer to sit fifth in the polarised Premiership. Alex Dyer’s side were winless in their first five games but have bounced back extremely well, although a 1-0 defeat by Hibernian last time out ended a sequence of three successive successes.

Nikola Katic is Rangers’ only absentee, but Gerrard might be tempted to shuffle his pack after his team’s Europa League clash with Lech Poznan on Thursday. Borna Barisic is expected to be fit but Rangers may opt to keep him on the bench.

Kilmarnock hope to have Jake Eastwood available for selection in the next couple of weeks but the visit of Rangers has come too soon for the goalkeeper, who’s on loan at Rugby Park from Sheffield United. Dyer will set his team up to keep things tight at the back and hit Rangers on the counter-attack, but that is easier said than done against a well-organised side that has kept 10 clean sheets already this term.

Kick-off is at 12pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Kilmarnock v Rangers live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:
