Northern Ireland v Romania live stream, Sky Sports, Wednesday 18 November, 7.45pm GMT

Northern Ireland will hope to end their Nations League campaign on a high when they host Romania in a battle between the bottom two sides in Group B1.

Ian Baraclough’s side are still reeling from the disappointment of an extra-time defeat to Slovakia in their Euro 2020 playoff last week.

They picked up a point in their meeting in Bucharest back in September, thanks to a late equaliser from Gavin Whyte.

On Baraclough’s debut as manager, they went behind to a goal from Reading striker George Puscas midway through the first half.

Things got worse when Josh Magennis was shown a second yellow card late in the first half, leaving Northern Ireland with 10 men for the remaining 51 minutes.

But a superb performance from goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell kept them in the game, and Whyte’s 86th-minute strike saw them nick an unlikely draw.

Baraclough will be hoping to see more of that grit and determination from his side at Windsor Park on Wednesday.

Northern Ireland’s record against the Romanians is good, as they have won three, drawn two and lost two in their seven meetings since 1984.

However, all three of those victories came between 1984 and 1994, and Romania are unbeaten in the four meetings since.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Mix in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Northern Ireland v Romania live stream from outside your country

If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
