Everton are aiming to confirm their top four credentials with a trip to winless Sheffield United on Boxing Day.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are on a terrific run of form in the Premier League, winning three on the trot against Chelsea, Leicester and Arsenal.
That spurt of victories has lifted the Toffees into the Champions League places, one point behind second-placed Leicester.
Sheffield United’s form offers a stark contrast, as the Blades are yet to record their first victory of the season after 14 games.
Chris Wilder’s side are bottom with two points, although one of those was collected in their last game away to Brighton.
It has been a dreadful start to the campaign for the Yorkshire club, but they did manage to get the better of the Merseysiders last season with a 2-0 win at Goodison Park.
But their clash at Bramall Lane finished in a 1-0 win for Everton in July, courtesy of a Richarlison goal.
