Remember when scoring was the aspect of Raheem Sterling’s game he needed to improve? Well, then his mum told him to get in the box more (no, really) and hey presto – he went from 10 goals in 2016/17 to 25 last season.
This season could be even better: the Manchester City forward already has nine goals from 11 games this season (or 14 from 15, if you include his England return).
As well as his mum, Pep Guardiola has been widely credited with the uptick in Sterling’s goal-getting – and in an exclusive interview in the Autumn issue of FourFourTwo, he reveals exactly how he became one of the most feared attackers on the planet.
Out in shops Tuesday, October 22!
But how many of the clubs he has scored for both City and Liverpool against can you name? There’s 37 to get – although you’ll notice that there are 83 points on offer here. That’s because we’ve included every game he’s scored in to help jog your memory (meaning a certain unfortunate south coast side will nab you eight whole points alone).
