Western Sydney Wanderers got their first taste of Asian Champions League football - but after a promising start with a goal in the opening seconds, it swiftly went downhill.
Brendon Santalab got on the end of a delightful Shinji Ono chip moments after the kick off and buried it in the back of the Ulsan Hyundai net at Parramatta Stadium.
And although his side kept pressing for the first 15 minutes, the tide soon turned and Ulsan equalised half an hour later and then take the lead just before half-time.
A third in the rain-soaked second half ended the home side's hopes of taking anything from the game but the fans still made a spectacle of the occasion.
