The Gary Philips-led revolution at Negri Sembilan continues as the Australian head coach plucked another player from the Hyundai A-League in the form of Henrique Silva from Brisbane Roar.
Henrique, 31, can claim to be the deciding factor in two of the three Hyundai A-League championships that Brisbane Roar have won.
Earning the nickname "Slippery Fish" with the A-League faithful, the enigmatic striker also scored a cracking goal this year against Melbourne City from the half-way line as they went on to win 3-1.
Negri team manager Satwant Singh told Malaysian publication The Star that he believes this signing could prove to be the difference in their hunt for promotion to the Malaysian Super League.
“We’re leaving no stone unturned in our bid to win promotion. We’re all excited by Henrique’s arrival," Satwant said.
"He is a high-profile player and fan favourite back at home. He is small, nippy and very sharp with the ball."comments
