Forward Richard Garcia has confirmed he will remain a Perth Glory player when the next A-League season kicks off.
Glory have already lost a number of players and several have been linked to other clubs following the salary cap scandal.
According to reports, Jamie Maclaren is seeking a move away from Perth, fullback Scott Jamieson is on his way out while goalkeeper Danny Vukovic has been linked to a move to Western Sydney Wanderers.
Midfielder Rostyn Griffiths has already left Glory, with his one-year contract ending, and is expected to head overseas. Young goalkeeper Jack Duncan is also reportedly seeking a move abroad and Mitch Nichols’ loan spell has ended.
Perth’s players may seek a release on the remainder of their contracts with the club after it was dropped to seventh place on the ladder and barred from the finals because of breaching the salary cap.
Garcia told FourFourTwo that he has committed to Glory. He joined the club on two-year deal last July after a short stint with Minnesota United FC in the US.
The West Australian native, who has 18 caps for the Socceroos, made 25 appearances in total for Perth in the 2014-2015 season, starting in most games.
Garcia, who has previously played for both Sydney FC and Melbourne Heart in the A-League, scored two goals this season.
