Sunday afternoon’s Westfield W-League match between Adelaide United and Perth Glory has been pushed back even further as a heatwave grips South Australia.
The game will now kick off at Adelaide Shores Football Centre at 7pm (ACDT).
Under the FFA's Heat Policy the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) was over the threshold and not expected to fall to a safe and acceptable level in time for kick off at the scheduled time.
With Coopers Stadium also hosting the A-League clash between the Reds and Glory, the women's game was relocated and as a result it will not be broadcast.
The W-League game was initially shifted from 1.30om (ACDT) to 4pm to deal with rising temperatures.
