Brisbane Roar and Socceroos defender Ivan Franjic is on the verge of a move to Russian Premier League outfit FK Torpedo Moscow.
Torpedo Moscow were recently promoted to their Premier League after finishing 3rd in the First Division and defeating Krylyla Sovetov in the play-offs.
The Russian Premier League season begins on August 2, with Torpedo set to play last years champions CSKA Moscow in the opening round.
President of Torpedo, Aleksandr Turkmanov, was reportedly quoted by Russian agency R-Sport admitting "almost all of the agreements regarding the transfer" of Franjic have been settled with his currentl club Brisbane.
Unfortunately for Franjic he will be the only Australian playing Premier League football in Moscow next season, with Dynamo having just released Luke Wilkshere after six years with the club.
Franjic was a member of the Socceroos squad that travelled to the World Cup Brazil last month, playing and setting up a goal in Australia's 3-1 loss to Chile before a hamstring injury cut his tournament short.
