Australia’s long-time Liverpool deputy goalkeeper Brad Jones has joined English third tier club Bradford City on a one-year contract.
The Bantams confirmed the signing on Monday evening (AEST) following an off-season of speculation for the 33-year-old who left the Reds in June.

Jones, who originally hails from Perth, married long-time English girlfriend Dani Lawrence in the off-season and was intent on remaining in the United Kingdom.
The four-time Socceroo only managed 27 appearances for Liverpool during his five years at Anfield and is likely to get far more opportunities to play at Bradford.
Jones will battle with former Manchester United junior Ben Williams for the number one shirt at the Valley Parade.
The Australian could debut tomorrow morning (AEST) when Bradford host Gillingham in League One.
