The Socceroos have dropped two places to 59 in the latest FIFA world rankings.

The Socceroos have dropped two places to 59 in the latest FIFA world rankings released today.

Last month, the Socceroos sat at 57 in the rankings following wins over Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh.

Australia faces Tajikistan and Jordan in their next two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in late March. 

Jordan climbed one place to 86 in the rankings, while Tajikistan have retained 148th place in the latest figures. 

Saudi Arabia were the biggest mover by points 42.

The world's top 20 remained unchanged with Belgium holding onto their ranking as the number one nation in the world.
