Socceroos move up in world rankings

The Socceroos have moved up to three places to 57 in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

After wins over Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh in November in World Cup qualifiers, the Asian Champions moved up three spots from 60 in the October rankings. 
The Socceroos' group rivals Jordan went down five spots to 87. 
Tajikistan, who like Jordan face the Socceroos in Australia next year in World Cup qualifiers, zoomed up 12 spots to 148. 
Belgium remain on top of the rankings.
