Bozanic confirms Swiss exit

Socceroo Oliver Bozanic has confirmed he is on the lookout for a new club after bidding farewell to Swiss club FC Luzern.

Bozanic, who played two games for Australia at the 2014 World Cup, has opted against penning a new deal with Luzern where he’s spent the past two years.

The 26-year-old is currently back on the Central Coast but is keen to continue to play his football in Europe.

Luzern put out a statement on the club’s Facebook page, stating: "We are grateful to Oli for a great time at FCL and wish the friendly Australian all the best and only the best for his sporting and private life.

“Thank you for everything and the great times with you, Crocodile!”

Bozanic made 26 appearances in all competitions for Luzern last season.

Luzern are due to begin their 2015-16 Swiss Super League season this weekend.
