Caceres wins Mariners Medal

Talented attacking midfielder Anthony Caceres took out the Mariners Medal at Central Coast's awards night on Friday.

Caceres won the night's most prestigious individual award – one that is voted on a 3-2-1 basis by players after each game of the A-League season.

The 22-year-old played in 26 of the Mariners' 27 matches in a poor season that saw Central Coast finish eighth on the table.

There were multiple other awards given out, including:

-        Central Coast Mariners Official Supporters Group Player of the Year: Liam Reddy

-        Damien Brown Medal: Anthony Caceres

-        Golden Boot: Fabio Ferreira, Eddy Bosnar and Matt Simon

-        Goal of the Year: Nick Montgomery

-        National Youth League Player of the Year: Josh Bingham

-        Club Person of the Year: Andrew Nealon

-        Volunteer of the Year: Ron Caldon

Newly appointed chief executive Shaun Mielekamp also said all 13 home matches for the club would be played at Central Coast Stadium in 2015-16.
