Perth Glory goalkeeper, Danny Vukovic, will arrive back in Perth next week after Vegalta Sendai agreed to an early release from his five month loan deal.
Vukovic, who was contracted to the J-League outfit until August, found his opportunities limited after then-coach Graham Arnold parted ways with the club.
Arnold has since taken the helm at Sydney FC and Vukovic is keen to be reunited with his Glory team mates in the build up to the 2014-15 campaign.
“Playing in Japan was an eye opening experience,” the 29-year-old said.
“I would have liked to have played a lot more and felt I had a lot to offer Vegalta Sendai. But it wasn't to be and I felt I was better off getting back home to Perth and preparing myself for preseason training.
“I'm really looking forward to getting back and getting stuck into another preseason.
“I'm excited at the new signings that the club has made so far and am very confident we will be playing finals football next season. Personally I want to build on last season and have an even better year for Perth Glory.”
Vukovic, who is contracted to Perth until the end of the 2016/17 season, was voted Players Player of the Year and Supporters Player of the Year at the club awards in May.comments
