West Brom to offload Davidson?

Only last month Jason Davidson was making his case for a loan move away from West Bromwich Albion, but the fullback could yet be forced out on a permanent basis, according to reports in the UK.

The 23-year-old has struggled to break into the Baggies' first team since arriving at The Hawthorns from Heracles in the close season.

That lack of game-time has seen Davidson lose his starting berth with the Socceroos to Aziz Behich, prompting him to flag a potential temporary move in a bid to revive his chances of featuring at the Asian Cup in January.

However, he could now be facing the prospect of being offloaded all together.

A report in The Telegraph claims West Brom manager Alan Irvine will look to sell several of the club's under-performing recent arrivals, including Chris Baird, Sebastian Blanco and Silvestre Varela, who is on loan from Porto.
