Scotland got off to a strong start in their opening World Cup fixture, but face a tough second game against Morocco.

With Brazil up next for the Scots, getting points on the board is incredibly important, as they look to make it out of the group stages.

They find themselves underdogs in both of their remaining games and will need to pull off a shock if they are to avoid having to rely on being among the eight best third place finishers.

Scotland vs Morocco predictions

Scotland have put together a strong and resilient squad, but will need to be at their very best if they are to get anything from Morocco.

The bookies have the North African side as heavy favourites, and it's difficult to see the game going any other way.

After an impressive opening performance against Brazil, Morocco are now in a strong position to seal qualification, with Haiti waiting for them after Scotland.

However, they will need to be wary of experienced players like Scott McTominay and John McGinn if they are to navigate their way past this potential banana skin.

They should have more than enough to justify the bookies' belief in their abilities, although they could be affected by today's news that one of their star players Achraf Hakimi is to stand trial on rape charges.

Score prediction: Scotland 1-3 Morocco
