Rogic scores a stunner in Celtic win

Tom Rogic will head to the Socceroos camp in Canberra today with plenty of confidence after scoring a stunning goal in Celtic’s win over Ross County on Sunday.

The classy playmaker scored the opening goal and got through 80 minutes in the Bhoys’ 4-1 victory at Global Energy Stadium.
And it was another sublime strike by the 22-year-old.
Receiving the ball about 30 yards from goal, Rogic took the ball forward with an excellent first touch, progressed a couple of metres before firing it into the corner with a powerful, swerving strike.
It’s another gem for Rogic to his highlights reel this season, to go with his cheeky, between-the-legs flicked goal last month.
The Canberra-born midfielder was unlucky not to have more goals against County, causing them problems nearly every time he got on the ball.
His form is sure to excite Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou, with Rogic to link up with the national team in Canberra this week for Thursday night’s vital FIFA World Cup qualifier against Kyrgyzstan.
Rogic wasn’t the only Aussie to perform well in that match, with midfielder Jackson Irvine providing the assist for Ross County’s goal.
