Former Juventus general manager Luciano Moggi, banned from football for five years for his part in Italy's 2006 match-fixing scandal, has said he will never return to the sport.
"Football is a world that doesn't interest me anymore, I don't want to come back," he told a trial where he is accused along with five others of using a player management company to manipulate the transfer market.
The outcome of the trial is expected in January. He is also due to face a separate trial on criminal charges linked to the match-fixing affair. He denies all charges.1 comment
