Terry doubtful for Brazil clash

Chelsea and England captain John Terry has emerged as a doubt for the Three Lions' international with Brazil in Doha on Saturday.

The central defender is believed to be suffering with an ankle injury.

Terry's Chelsea team-mate Frank Lampard has already flown back to England after sustaining a thigh problem in training on Thursday. He is expected to be out for two to three weeks. While fellow first-team members Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, David Beckham and Emile Heskey are also out.

Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry or Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could captain Fabio Capello's side in Terry's absence.
