Aussies abroad: Wilkinson wins title

The Socceroos centre-back lifted silverware in Korea with time to spare following Saturday's win on the road.

Alex Wilkinson played the full 90 minutes and helped Jeonbuk Motors keep a clean sheet as they wrapped up the K-League title with three matches to spare, beating Jeju United 3-0 away from home.Wilkinson's fellow Australian Aleksandr Jovanovic was sent in the 38th minute for Jeju.

Scott McDonald came on in the 57th minute of Millwall's 3-2 loss at home to Brentford in the Championship. Adam Federici played the full game but was unable to prevent his Reading side from losing 1-0 at home to Charlton Athletic. 

Massimo Luongo's Swindon Town were on the wrong end of a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup. Shane Lowry and Leyton Orient also exited the competition, going down 1-0 at Oldham Athletic.

Jackson Irvine played the full game and picked up a yellow card as his Ross County defeated Kilmarnock 3-0 away from home. 

James Troisi set up all three goals as Zulte Waregem defeated KV Oostende 3-1 away from home in the Belgian Pro-League.

Robbie Kruse came on with 16 minutes to go in Bayer Leverkusen's 0-0 Bundesliga draw at home to Mainz.

Trent Sainsbury supplied the assist for PEC Zwolle's second goal as they defeated Groningen 2-0 at home in the Eredivisie despite having scorer Thomas Necid sent off with 12 minutes remaining.

Oliver Bozanic completed 90 minutes for Luzern in a 0-0 Swiss Super League draw at home to FC Thun.

North America
Tim Cahill's New York Red Bulls lost 2-1 to DC United but still advanced to the Eastern Conference final 3-2 on aggregate. The Socceroo came on as a substitute in the 65th minute.
