Ex A-League star released in the U.S.

Former Hyundai A-League player of the year Marcos Flores has been released by his US NASL club Jacksonville Armada as the club culled eight players from its bottom of the league squad.

Flores, midfielders Bochy Hoyos, Lucas Rodriguez and Ramak Safi, defenders Fabricio Ortiz and Josephy Toby, goalkeeper David Sierra, and forward Tyler Williams have been released from the club.
Flores made his name in the A-League with Adelaide United winning the Warren Medal for player of the year in 2011 before moving on to Victory, Central Coast and the Jets with a spell in China in-between.
The 30-year-old Argentine born playmaker tweeted he wanted to play as a 10, and is now looking for a new club and has thanked the fans in Jacksonville for their support.
